Quorum Programming Language

A new 12-part course was developed this year using the Quorum programming language. Quorum is a text-based language, designed to be intuitive to learn and to be fully accessible to visually impaired users. It is very easy to get started with, and serves as a useful introduction to text-based languages and object-oriented programming for any students who want to go beyond MIT App Inventor.

In addition to using text-based programs to introduce important programming concepts, the course makes use of Quorum's speech generation and MIDI sound capabilities to build a Simon-like audio sequence game, and uses its Lego Mindstorms EV3 interface to program a robot.
